BODY SHAPE

“HOW TO LOOK AESTHETICALLY BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT YOUR

BODY SHAPE IS”

I truly believe that all body shapes are beautiful in their own unique way: If you understand what your proportions are and also know a few style guidelines for your figure, you are well on your way to looking your best. Identifying your own cookies-cutter body shape can help you steer in the right direction of picking up an outfit.

There are 4 vital factors on how to flatten your frame no matter what body shape you’ve got.

§ Proportions

§ Vertical body line

§ Fit

§ Confidence

-

Ever wonder why an outfit just looks great on someone, even though you just particularly like the clothes? It’s because of the proportions of that look.

So if you have curves add a detail rich or light-colored top with a skirt/pants, if you have a full bust wear something more solid and simple on top because the skirt/pants will balance your heavy upper body.

Vertical body line is that proportion between upper and bottom half, in order for you not to look stubby, choose clothes that would help you stream line your silhouette from top to toe.

If your legs are short compared to your upper body, you can wear accessories and clothing that draws the eye up towards your face and shoulder. Straight or boot cut pants, high waist pants and skirts, heels light colored top and dark bottom to elongate your legs and bags that end at mid-section length.

If your legs are longer compared to your upper body, you probably have a high waist, wear accessories that draws the eye down like jackets that end at hip level, un-tucked tops, low rise pants and skirts, dark colored top to elongate your torso (The main part of the body excluding the head, arm or leg) and light colored bottom, bags that end around the hip level, flats or shoe with low heels.

The perfect fit for all body shapes; if your clothes are too tight, it can highlight areas you don’t like. The same thing applies if they are too loose because it makes you a little bigger. Basically no matter how fabulous a dress is if you’re uncomfortable in it you won’t look or feel good.

Confidence in the clothes you wear can make or break your look, I believe confidence is a combination of wearing 3 things that makes you look good:-

* The right clothes –in proportion, vertical and fit

* The right colors for your skin tone

* Self-confidence.

By drawing attention to your best body part, your confidences will sky-rocket. Ever wonder why Beyonce looks great? It is because she accentuates her curves with self-confidence and at the same time wears the perfect fit and her personal colors.

Finally, light colors create a focal point, while dark colors take the attention away so, stick to light colors for areas that you want to enhance and be seen.

HOW TO DRESS RIGHT AND BE ATTRACTIVE

HOW TO DRESS RIGHT AND BE ATTRACTIVE

Everybody wants to look attractive and smart .The first thing you need to do to attract men is to select your outfit very carefully. Take into consideration the fabric as well as the color of the dress, the general notation is that Red color really attracts the males so you can try that. Wearing clothes of expensive brand is not the only thing to be done. You really need to have some creative skills and the knowledge to impress others. Wearing a flashy dress and flashy jewelry is not the key to impress men. Remember that simplicity really impresses most men and by just being simple may do the magic.

Wear simple but decent clothes that emphasize your best features, in such a way as to draw attention to you.

Stay on top with current fashion trend but don’t be a slave of fashion, it helps you demonstrate a certain degree of sophistication.

Footwear is an important part of the overall image you present; just because you’re wearing high heels doesn’t mean you’re hot, think of what you wear on your feet as one of the key tone-setters for your ensemble.

Finally the type of make-up you have on tells a lot about you, the best way to go about it is to use a very natural make-up to enhance your beauty. Always remember to go mild on your makeup during the day and you may go vibrant on evening outings.

The Challenges Facing Fashion

Fashion trends appear unexpectedly and fade away even quicker than they appeared. Sustaining their slice of the pie and attracting new customers is a key issue facing the retailers? Especially in case of apparel retailing, where garments have a short life cycle, fads move even more rapidly. The retailer would lose his profits if he missed to keep abreast of the springing trends, and simultaneously would lose money if he invests in the wrong trend. This is one big challenging aspect facing the fashion industry.

The major concern for apparel retailers is brand positioning. Luxury apparel stores like Banana Republic target high income customers who do not mind to pay a hefty price for their merchandise. They seek attires with premium quality with a premium price. The second category of retailers are those who deal with near luxury garments; clothes which are little lavish, but within the budget of middle and upper middle class consumers. They target customers who crave for wearing stylish clothes matching the latest trends; those cannot afford to pay premium prices for their outfits, but can settle for these near luxury brands. Brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Fitch & Abercrombie fall under this category. Gap captures consumers with apparels at mid-range price. Last are the standard apparel retailers, those who aim at the middle and lower level customers with average incomes, who generally seek to buy apparels during clearance sales. Brands such as Old Navy targets low end price products of the apparel industry.

Brand positioning during tough times:
Brand positioning of apparels is very crucial especially during the times of economic turmoil. During these times, only the creamy people go in for their shopping spree without any restrictions of their budget. Luxury apparel retailers do not face much problem during these times as their wealth-laden customers generally do not have any issues regarding their spending patterns. After being bludgeoned by recession, middle and lower income people curtail their shopping patterns and cut back from spending on non-necessity items. Clothing comes under this kind. Sales in the near luxury and standard apparel stores will have a deep impact during these times.

Profit margins of apparel retailers too have variations due to the discounting strategies and variation in price levels. Profit margins for high end apparel companies range around 67% and 20% for standard apparel companies. Low priced apparel retailers keep low profit margins and still go for a discount when they do their clearance sales. Fashion industry is going through a price overhaul with companies like H&M, and Forever 21 coming up with apparels with fair quality and low price. Today’s consumers are picky and close minded regarding their shopping preferences, especially when it comes to apparels. The market trends keep changing to go with the consumers taste.

Customers will look for value as well as the price tag. From the perspective of attitude, shoppers will have a different thinking. In order to compete in today’s market; the successful strategy for apparel retailers is to offer a wide range of clothing at as many price ranges as possible.
